Pain relief during labor and delivery?

I was looking online for some effective plain relief methods during labor and delivery. I am still debating about my options, [...]

I have heard that the contractions come on suddenly and painfully when the labor is induced. Should I ask for pain relief before the labor induction begins? Birth pain relief types? Epidural or no epidural?

I’d prefer answers from other mother’s who have used the pain relief technique, not just heard of [...]

Does epidular for pain relief during labour really causes backache afterwards?

Chosen Answer: Not always, but it can. And you can have a backache even without an epidural, simply because labor and delivery is hard work and you are using muscles you never knew you had. So you can’t always blame the epidural, either.

Christians: Is it against your beliefs if a woman has pain-relief during child-birth?

Because of the whole “Adam and Eve” story you believe? I dunno, I was just wondering. Chosen Answer: As per quranic tradition many male witnesses are called to watch the woman in labor while Suleiman talks to ants and mohammad splits the moon in two. the quran is filthy, rubbish that even people 1,400 years [...]

What method of pain-relief did you use during labor?

The epidural sounds scary..does it hurt getting it or does it make your body feel weird? Chosen Answer: I was petrified of having an epidural, but once the labor pains start, the little prick of a needle is NOTHING. I didn’t have anything with my second child – and I felt like running a marathon [...]
