I have to go to the dentist in about an hour due to my tooth has snapped! I have a feeling there going to need to remove the tooth and its so painful, can you have any sort of pain relief at the dentist when your pregnant? Im 21 weeks x
I had my tooth out at 11 weeks pregnant they give you a different type of anaesthetic its not as strong as the normal one but you don’t feel any pain when they do it just a lot of pulling afterwards you can take paracetamol take the lowest possible dose you can start with one every 4 hours
If you had serious pain like arthritis or migraine or something like that and it was immediately relieved how would you describe that. One word answers or very short phrases.
a prayer answered!
I had my son with no pain relief as i wanted the ‘experience’ of a drug free birth. Now i am pregnant again i was thinking about having a different experience this time around. I was thinking about having an epidural but i think i would hate not being able to get up and walk around to have a shower after baby is born. I have friends who have had gas and the pethidine injection and they say that neither work very well. What pain relief would you recommend and what are your experiences with it
Anything that will ease the pain!!!
You can try some paracetamol/acetaminophen, and an anti inflammatory such as ibuprofen.
If it’s just an earache, you can put a few drops of warmed oil in the ear canal, to soothe the tightened eardrum. If it’s an infection, you need to see your doctor ASAP and get antibiotics. You can tell if it is an infection by fever, smell from the affected ear, or discharge from the ear.
Help me…..1st child, 25 weeks pregnant, what is the best form of pain relief for YOU during labour? Will try and just have the gas and air but people keep telling me to have peth & epidural all set up ready, bit dubious about the Peth as it makes baby drowsy but not sure if I can stand the pain………….
Epidural all the way. Get it as early as you can. I would suggest now
Hi, I lost my cat of 17 year today. She was a gentle soul and I love her so very much. It really hurts. How can I ease the pain of losing her?
I’m really sorry about your pet. It really is like losing a child, so give yourself at least a couple of months to come to terms with her passing over into the spiritual plane. Remember happier times, more than sad ones.
